Three questions every buyer asks first
Summers reach fifty degrees. Many homes and shops run on a generator line for part of the day. Iraqi buyers check the same numbers every time, and your customers will ask you. We print them on the data plate, and we do not guess.
Will it run on my generator line? How many amps does it pull?
"The 10 amperes are only sufficient to operate the refrigerator and a few basic appliances," one Iraqi told The Media Line. So we answer in amps. Starting draw and running draw go on the plate for every refrigerator and freezer. Until the plate is printed, ask us for the spec sheet.

Full safety is what Iraqi sellers call the flame-failure device. The plate for each cooker lists the ignition type and which burners and the oven carry it. If the plate does not list it, the model does not have it.

In July 2026 Baghdad had grid power 8 to 10 hours a day, and Wasit, Salah al-Din, Nineveh and Anbar about 6.5. We publish a hold time only after measuring it with the door closed. Until then the plate reads "Published once measured", and we tell you the same if you ask.

Landed cost after the 2026 customs enforcement
Cabinet Decision 957 put tariffs of 0.5 to 30 percent into force in early 2026: electrical appliances and household goods at 10 to 15 percent on the schedule, industrial raw materials at 0.5 to 2 percent. By February traders were reporting customs of 30 percent and goods held at the port. A unit built under your brand in Erbil never joins that queue.

The Iraqi Quality Mark on imports
Since 1 July 2024 the mark has been mandatory for ovens and cooling devices, and since 15 September 2025 no electrical product enters Iraq without the quality code, a pre-shipment conformity certificate, a barcode and an energy label. Goods without them are barred, fined or confiscated. Ask us where each of our lines stands.

Why build my units in Iraq when a finished import costs less on the invoice?
We will not argue with the invoice. Do today's sum instead. The tariffs enforced in early 2026 put electrical appliances at 10 to 15 percent on the schedule. Add freight, the days a container sits at the port, and the pre-shipment conformity certificate. Then ask for our terms and compare.

The warranty for each product line, what it covers, whether labour and site visits are included, how a claim is made and who handles it, is set out in writing and agreed with you directly. We will not print years on this page until they are the years we sign.
My name goes on every unit. How do I know units built here will protect it?
We will not answer that with a slogan. Watch a unit pass the inspection lamp on this page, then read its data plate: it prints only the numbers the factory has confirmed, and the rest reads "Pending factory confirmation". Then read our warranty, order and branding terms before your name goes on a single unit.
What happens to the compressor when the grid and the generator switch?
"Sometimes the generators break down or stop when they run out of fuel, which can damage our electrical appliances," one Iraqi told AFP in 2018. The voltage range each unit accepts, and how it behaves when the supply switches, are stated per model on the spec sheet. Nothing on this page guesses at them.
